On December 11, the official website of the General Administration of Market Supervision notified the special inspection of the national supervision of the quality of smart toilet products in 2018. A total of 70 batches of products were sampled, of which 66 batches were qualified, with a pass rate of 94.3%, an increase of 3.1 percentage points on the basis of last year.
Mainstream brand products are qualified

The 70 batches of this sample survey involve 65 companies, covering almost all mainstream brands on the market. Among them, Jiu Mu, Heng Jie, Huida, Dongpeng, Faenza, Jiajia Sanitary Ware, Ou Pai Sanitary Ware, Rifeng, Anwar, Mengjia, Diou, Rui Erte, Jie Jie Bao, He Cheng, Shu 66 batches of mainstream brands such as Duravit, Kohler and Panasonic were all qualified, and the overall pass rate reached 94.3%.

Among the 65 companies, 48 ​​were randomly selected, accounting for 73.8% of the total number of companies surveyed. Among them, 5 of the unqualified enterprises in the last spot check were tracked and checked, and 5 enterprises passed the spot check; the number of qualified enterprises in the last spot check was 43, and 2 of them were unqualified, and 41 of them were qualified.

A total of 4 batches of products were found to be unqualified, accounting for 5.7% of the total number of random inspection batches, respectively: “D1050 produced by the nominal “Xiamen Aituo Rui Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd.”; 220V~ 50Hz 1010W” type product; “TT-QY-001; 220V 50Hz 1600W” type product produced by “Zhejiang Tujia Intelligent Bathroom Technology Co., Ltd.”; nominally “Foshan Samet Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd.” “ZGWC1960K-S987A; 220V ~ 50Hz 1400W” type products; “816B” type products produced by the “Foshan Jiezuo Intelligent Sanitary Ware Co., Ltd.”. The unqualified items involved four safety indicators such as power connection and external cord, structure, input power and current, and protection against live parts.

The General Administration of Market Supervision requires local market supervision and management departments to supervise and rectify the production enterprises whose product quality is unqualified in this spot check, and handle them according to law.

Upgrading for 3 consecutive years

Intelligent toilets are popular consumer products in recent years, and their product quality has received much attention. The market supervision department vigorously carried out the intelligent toilet quality improvement and quality attack action, and the national pumping pass rate has increased from 60.0% three years ago to 94.3% now.

2015: A total of 45 batches of intelligent toilet products produced by 45 companies were sampled, with a pass rate of 60%.

2016: A total of 68 batches of intelligent toilet products produced by 58 companies were sampled, with a pass rate of 82.4%, an increase of 22.4 percentage points over the previous year.

2017: A total of 91 batches of intelligent toilet products produced by 62 companies were sampled, with a pass rate of 91.2%, an increase of 8.8 percentage points over the previous year.

2018: A total of 70 batches of intelligent toilet products produced by 65 companies were sampled, with a pass rate of 94.3%, an increase of 3.1 percentage points over the previous year and an increase of 34.3 percentage points from 2015.

The smart toilet industry has achieved these results this year

Beijing Consumers Association has released a survey report on the trend of smart toilet consumption, among the 10 most popular brands, Chinese brands Accounted for six, more than foreign brands. In a similar survey conducted by the Guangdong Quality Supervision Bureau in 2016, foreign brands accounted for 50.46%, and domestic brands accounted for 49.54%. The improvement of domestic brand recognition shows that in recent years, various companies have achieved good results in brand promotion, product promotion and market education.

Longer warranty period
