Located in a spectacular but exposed place, this house requires a lot of planning before it can be built to get the design you see today. This is a project designed by Rolf, built in Australia. The most attractive feature of this location is the stunning sea view.
Because the view is in the south and the sun is in the north, the architect’s team must find a way to make the most of both Elements. They have a blank and a row of angled skylights in the center of the house. This is not the only challenge. Because the house is a waterfront property, the height of the roof must be minimized and the surrounding residents can also enjoy the view. The decision was that it had an unusual roof shape. It allows sunlight to enter without obstructing the view of the surrounding buildings.
